We don't warehouse hoodies. We print them when you buy them.
Every Bad Dog piece is made to order. No stockroom. No "sorry, that size sold out." No dead stock sitting in a warehouse in Guangdong. You click buy, we print it, we ship it. Forty-eight hours, Toronto to your door.
Why we do it this way
The fashion industry burns 92 million tonnes of textile waste a year. A lot of that is stuff that was made for people who never bought it.
We don't want to add to that pile. We also don't want to tell you a size is sold out when nothing actually sold out — we just guessed wrong on the pre-order.
So we don't guess. We print each piece when the order comes in. That means a 48-hour production window instead of same-day shipping. We think it's a trade worth making. If you're in a hurry, Amazon is right there.
The blanks
We print on four blanks. All sourced from mills in Canada and the US. Nothing is drop-shipped from a Shopify-plugin printer in another hemisphere.
01 · The Hoodie
10oz mid-weight pullover
80/20 cotton-poly fleece, brushed interior, matching flat drawcord, kangaroo pocket, ribbed cuffs and hem. Boxy unisex fit, runs true to size, XS–2XL.
02 · The Long Sleeve
6.5oz ring-spun long sleeve
100% combed ring-spun cotton, set-in sleeve, side-seamed body, straight hem. Unisex XS–2XL.
03 · The Tee
5.5oz pre-shrunk ring-spun
100% ring-spun cotton, shoulder-to-shoulder taping, double-needle hem. Pre-shrunk so what you get out of the wash is what you got out of the box. Unisex XS–2XL.
04 · The Tag
32mm anodized aluminum disc
UV-printed artwork on one side, your dog's name + phone on the other. Rolled edge, split-ring attachment included. Lighter than brass, won't jingle itself to death.
The print
All garment art is screen-printed, not DTG, not vinyl. Screens are burned fresh for each colourway and discarded after the drop sells through. That's why colour depth looks like it belongs in a gallery, not a sales kiosk.
- Screen-print, 300 DPI equivalent output — plastisol inks on cotton blanks, water-based discharge on 100% cotton tees
- Chest-hit placement — 10" wide, centred, 3" below collar seam. Not a shoulder, not a hem.
- Soft-hand feel — flash-cured, not plate-cured. The print flexes with the garment, no cardboard feel.
- Tag art is UV-printed — not laser-engraved, not epoxy. Scratch-resistant, dishwasher-safe, outlives the dog.

The custom lane
If you want your dog's name on a tag or a one-off piece, that's the custom lane. Tags with the dog's name + a phone number ship 48 hours after you order. For anything else — commissioned art, limited runs, co-brands — email hello@baddogsupply.ca.
